Give back to your community!
The Employee Giving Campaign (EGC) is a way for us, as Chesapeake Regional owners, to give back. This annual campaign supports programs and services provided at Chesapeake Regional, as well as benefitting the Chesapeake community.
As a valued member of the Chesapeake Regional family, we want to empower you to give from the heart.
- EGC raises over $150K annually
- CRH Employees have raised more than $3 million!
- That money has funded Chapel Renovation, Priority Toyota Cancer Center expansion, Mother/Baby rooms expansion, Cuddle Cots, Blessing Bags, new ED furniture, area of greatest needs and more.
Ways to give:
• Through Payroll Deduction
• One-time gift by check or credit card
• By donating PAL (PAL will be redeemed at 100% of its value)
This year, participants will receive their own incentives at various giving levels:
• By signing up at any level, you receive a special edition lapel pin and eligibility to enter a monthly raffle for one day of PAL
• Gift card to Texas Roadhouse
• CRH Limited Edition EGC t-shirt
• CRH Foundation logo items
• Tickets to annual Foundation events. (Bra-ha-ha 5K, Bra-ha-ha Awards Show & Auction, Annual Gala)

FAQs
There is no longer a $3 or $7 level?
In order to balance the expense of the campaign and an effort to raise funds for Chesapeake Regional Health Foundation, we have eliminated these two levels and included a $5 level. At $5 a pay period, the total donation will be $130 total.
How do I calculate my PAL donation?
This can be done in two different ways:
- You can circle the level you wish to participate in, and our Payroll Manager will calculate the number of hours you will need to “donate” to reach this amount (after taxes and as close to the total as possible).
- You can choose how many hours to donate, and our Payroll Manager will send the Foundation office the amount of your donation (after taxes and as close to your requested total as possible).
What if I am a new employee (post campaign kick-off) or come into the Campaign late?
You will have two options:
- You can either stick with the set amount per pay period and receive the incentives for the total donation given.
- Or you can elect to give the full donation amount noted, divided among pay periods (if not PAL donation). For instance, if you begin employment on January 1, with 13 paychecks remaining, and you’d like to donate $10 per paycheck, totaling $130 and earning a level 1 incentive. Alternatively, you can choose to donate the full level of $260 and contribute $20 per paycheck for the first year.
May I divide my donation by two PAL “payments”?
YES! You may ask for a two time PAL donation (once in July and another in January – we are also flexible with the dates).
I am always at the max amount of PAL that can be accrued – can I donate?
Yes! PAL can be donated at any time at 100% of its amount (minus taxes) to the Foundation and counted towards your donation. Whenever you are close to your PAL max, please consider donating it to Employee Giving!
